Sebastián Kanovich served as the Co-Founder and CEO of dLocal, an all-in-one payments platform connecting global merchants to over 900 payment methods in emerging markets like Africa, Asia, and Latin America, from 2016 to 2024. As CEO, he expanded dLocal from its South American origins to become a leading global payments processor in less than a decade, and led the company to a successful IPO in June 2021. The company now operates in 42 regions and serves major clients such as Facebook, Google, Spotify, and Shein.
